Although the stereotypes need to say that women talk ALL THE TIME, the truth is far from that.
Women live into the silence. Their voices are not heard! At work, at the public sector, in their families, even in front of the doctors women are believed as the creatures that ‘’they do not really mean what they say’’, ‘’they lie all the time in order to achieve their goals’’, ‘’women talk about matters that they do not matter like beauty and gossiping’’, ‘’they are not interested about political or social matters’’. Of course history and real life proves the opposite. Lately statistics are on women s side: more women than men study at Universities and gradually the societies will be obliged to give to women high positions in every professional field.
But we know that the stereotypes is hard to break; and the signs of global current political situation shows that democracy and human rights, equality and justice are vulnerable and fragile. So, AMPLIFY WOMEN S VOICES!
More than ever the objective of this phrase is necessary for women and the whole society!
No more silent women! And women voices have so many interesting things to say! From a fairy tail until the every day struggle of life; from a song until a political speech; from a cooking recipe until great philosophical ideas!
But women need to find the strength to expose theirselves. That is why they need to be supported by other women. Exactly this environment was created by the Erasmus+ project in Serifos, Greece in October 2024 and led to flourishing creativity all the women that had the happiness and the privilege to participate. As a symbolic action as well as a proof of all the above their voices, different but so similar, were expressed through the modern form of podcasting. Technology has been found at the right hands and we hope that the female power together with the female love for the world will break the harshness of technology and certainly many stereotypes.
